What made you want to start it?
The desire to thrive professionally alongside my active duty service member prompted me to start my Virtual Assistant (VA) business. I wanted a portable career that would allow me to utilize my business management and executive office skills. I combined my skillset with the available technology and continue to embrace industry innovations.
How has it benefited you throughout PCSing?
Becoming a Virtual Assistant (VA) has benefited me through PCSing, my service member’s retirement, and a pandemic with the ability to work remotely and seamlessly with clients while earning a consistent income.
How much do you earn from it per month?
I meet my income earning goals benefiting from low startup expenses, minimal overhead costs, and ability to control my workload.
Do you have any tips for others?
My tip for others is explore what entrepreneurship would mean to you and your family, to use your network to conduct informational interviews with professionals who are in the industry(ies) you are curious about, and to learn about available resources.
